About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understand data requirements of assigned partners and ensure data-related products and services meet expectations
Establish strong partner relationships through regular communication and meetings, in collaboration with Partnership Success Managers
Support Partnerships Team colleagues and partners regarding Murmuration’s data management rules and processes
Proactively understand partners’ long-term data requirements and recommend enhancements or new data solutions
Resolve partner data issues by coordinating internal and external parties, including data vendors and technology partners
Recommend and provide strategic support for more efficient and effective data and database operations
Help clean and load data, understand complex data sets, and implement data management best practices
Collaborate with the Data Team to prioritize enhancements and improvements to tools and methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively
Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
Proactive ability to identify and fix data issues in a large, complex data environment
Moderate knowledge of SQL, including creating complex queries and manipulating large data sets
Moderate experience in scripting languages such as Python
Experience with voter file, election data, or datasets containing personally identifiable information (PII) is a plus
Experience executing community or political outreach efforts on a significant scale is a plus
Experience implementing data quality control best practices with internal and external stakeholders is a plus
Experience training stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy is a plus
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Sigma or Tableau is a plus
