About the role
- Help fuel Mural’s global growth by transforming data into clear, actionable insights and advising on GTM investments
- Business Partnership: Support business partners in tracking, forecasting and analyzing operational expenses and own the monthly and quarterly BvA process for the GTM organization
- Support deployment of marketing spend and maintain sales capacity models
- Participate in annual planning, long-term planning, and rolling forecast processes
- Produce KPI reporting and root cause trends in KPIs; prepare insights for variance and key meetings
- Run cross-functional initiatives that improve data-driven insights or company efficiency
- Communicate findings to FP&A management, functional managers and directors
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Department leaders on variance analysis, monthly finance deck, unit economics and forecast updates
- Provide monthly analysis of SaaS metrics and peer benchmarking
- Build, develop and maintain financial models that forecast and measure the performance of GTM operations; perform ad-hoc analysis as required
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Finance with ideally 2+ years of FP&A experience within a SaaS company
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, economics, business or other related fields
- Experience with financial planning software (Adaptive Planning) and Netsuite preferred; experience with Tableau and Salesforce a plus.
- Outstanding Excel / Google Sheets skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to convey complex financial concepts to leaders across the organization
- A passion to help others make informed decisions driven by ROI and storytelling with numbers
- Experience building, developing and maintaining financial models and forecasting GTM operations
- Experience producing KPI reporting, variance analysis, and SaaS metrics benchmarking
