About the role

  • Design and specify controls, robotics, and power distribution systems for industrial automation applications.
  • Develop deliverable controls drawing packages using AutoCAD.
  • Program PLC, HMI/SCADA, and robotics systems offline using tools such as Rockwell Studio 5000, Omron CX Programmer, GE Cimplicity, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, and Fanuc Roboguide.
  • Commission automation systems at customer sites, including verification, debugging, wiring, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide training and support to operators and management teams during commissioning.
  • Work across diverse industries, with primary focus on automotive and packaging.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in controls engineering or related automation fields.
  • Experience with control panels, industrial robots, PLCs, HMI/SCADA, field wiring, and device-level networks.
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Toyopuc, GE.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel for commissioning and onsite support as needed.
