About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement sales strategies that support revenue growth and profitability objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the French market.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Application team to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
  • Coordinate, support, and motivate external sales agents to achieve commercial targets.
  • Monitor sales agent performance through KPIs and provide guidance where needed.
  • Organize regular meetings with agents to review results, discuss opportunities, and align sales activities.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with customers.
  • Represent Munters at customer meetings, industry events, trade fairs, and networking activities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to support business growth.
  • Analyze sales performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Ideally 5–7 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or business development.
  • Experience within industrial equipment, process industries, environmental technologies, or related sectors is highly desirable.
  • Experience with RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer) systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales methodologies and consultative selling techniques.
  • Proven ability to build customer relationships and manage complex technical sales cycles.
  • Experience working with sales agents, distributors, or indirect sales channels is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales management tools.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into commercial actions.
  • Strategic, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Italian is considered a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within France.
