About the role
- Health professional education: Conduct in-person, virtual, and telephone meetings with a targeted panel of physicians and healthcare professionals to share relevant information about the company and its products, enabling professionals to make informed decisions for their patients.
- Program development and implementation: Plan, design and/or implement educational and promotional programs tailored to clients’ needs to provide balanced information on therapeutic areas and product-related needs.
- Building strong relationships: Establish and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals through in-person, virtual, and telephone interactions, seeking to understand their needs and identify partnership or value-added opportunities for their practices.
- Territory administration: Complete territory administration in a timely manner to meet reporting requirements and internal objectives (e.g., daily logging of calls in the CRM, weekly expense reports).
- Annual business plan: Develop and execute an annual business plan to identify potential commercial opportunities within the territory and ensure corporate objectives are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (science, business, or equivalent)
- 2 to 5 years of sales experience
- 3+ years of prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Valid driver's license
- Basic CCPE accreditation
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills to assess and develop/execute territory-level business plans
- Communication and presentation skills to engage clients and colleagues in commercial activities
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain credible relationships with healthcare professionals by understanding their needs and delivering value in every interaction
- Commitment to fostering a cohesive team environment and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional partners
- Attention to detail, multitasking ability, and organizational skills essential for managing the complexity and demands of the role
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel
- Reside in or near the territory
