About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee annual budget development for the Library department and the independent Multnomah County Library District.
  • Supervise Library Business Services and Library Facilities Management Staff.
  • Act as the primary liaison to the County Budget Office and County Finance leadership team.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Project Management Office in the overall implementation of the Library capital bond program.
  • Maintain oversight of internal service methodologies and practices as they pertain to Library facility operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, public administration, or field related to finance, accounting.
  • Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in public sector financial management, including direct responsibility for leading budget development and financial operations.
  • Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to pass a criminal records check, should a job offer be extended.
