About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage multiple fire protection projects, including new installations and retrofits
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, technicians, subcontractors, and internal departments
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; track progress and performance
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, AHJ regulations, and company safety standards
  • Coordinate material procurement, subcontractor scheduling, and field service dispatch
  • Maintain accurate project documentation
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions for system deficiencies
  • Support sales by identifying opportunities and providing recommendations
  • Ensure timely billing and help resolve invoicing discrepancies
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment
  • Participate in business development through sales calls, networking, and market awareness
  • Conduct site surveys and provide technical education
  • Provide training on newly introduced systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, emphasizing sprinkler systems
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in a service-focused environment
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Adherence to the company Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Safety Policy
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours for deadlines or emergencies
  • Ability to work in office and field-based environments with occasional job site visits
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, site surveys, and project oversight
  • NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems (preferred)
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or CAPM (highly desirable)
