About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage multiple projects, including new installations and retrofits to existing buildings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, technicians, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, track progress and performance.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, AHJ regulations, and company safety standards.
- Coordinate material procurement, subcontractor scheduling, and field service dispatch.
- Maintain accurate project documentation
- Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions for system deficiencies.
- Support sales by identifying opportunities and providing recommendations.
- Ensure timely billing and assist with resolving invoicing discrepancies.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in business development through sales calls, networking, and market awareness.
- Conduct site surveys to determine customer needs and provide technical education.
- Provide training on new systems as they are introduced.
- Attend annual continuing education classes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, with emphasis on sprinkler systems.
- Proven project management experience, ideally in a service-focused environment.
- NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems (preferred).
- Project Management certifications (PMP, PgMP, CAPM) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
