About the role
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects to ensure successful delivery in terms of timescale, cost and scope
- Manage several parallel medium to large omni-channel, technology or re-platforming projects
- Co-ordinate the resources of both internal and external teams for successful implementations
- Work with multiple internal Business teams and co-ordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones
- Define resources and schedules for project/program implementation
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
Requirements
- A recognised Project Management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Prince2 Certification or equivalent preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field is preferred
- Substantial experience of Project Management or IT Management experience
- Experience in managing large omni-channel, technology or re-platforming projects
- Experience working with multiple third parties on large-scale technology implementations
- Experience of working in mixed methodology environments
- Scheduling and budgeting experience
- Self-motivated and good teamwork skills
- Good all-round education and communication skills
- Able to effectively manage own priorities and workload
