About the role

  • Become the subject matter expert on the MujinController platform in order to demonstrate, train, support, and guide our channel partners
  • Hands-on installation, commissioning, and debugging of robotics systems, including robot arms, PLCs, and applications peripheral equipment such as grippers, conveyors, vision systems, and pneumatics equipment
  • Engage in proactive pre- and post-sales activities to support the technical development of partners and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Travel with the channel sales team to demonstrate the capability of the MujinController to new partners and customers
  • Provide support for the design and development of robotics and automation solutions
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, product, and service to support all partners in the North American region
  • Provide technical support, including reading electrical diagrams, configuration for the MujinController, and using high-level programming languages such as C++, Java, Python
  • Utilize design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion, or similar) to support the creation and implementation of robotics solutions
  • Maintain and demonstrate solutions in the Mujin show room, test and debug new software, and provide feedback to the engineering and R&D teams
  • Participate in the development and delivery of Mujin training courses and support the technical development of the partner network
  • Act as an ambassador for Mujin, contributing to our business vision and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in the Robotics and Automation Industry, with hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, and debugging.
  • Proficient in robotics programming languages and high-level programming languages (C++, Java, Python)
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and proficiency in design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion, or similar)
  • Experience with traditional robotics software and a thorough understanding of the robotics systems lifecycle
  • Highly proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and a logical approach to challenges
  • Advanced English language proficiency and the flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Independent yet collaborative team player, motivated by solving complex tasks with a practical approach.
