About the role
- Supporting all activities pertinent to the timely, accurate and efficient processing of commercial account transactions
- Onboarding clients into the system
- Opening and closing accounts and handling transitions and conversions
- Providing client support for onboarding, maintenance, and closing activities
- Reconciling and reviewing incoming or outgoing data for accuracy to ensure data quality
- Ensuring timely and effective commercial account monitoring and reporting
- Identifying, documenting, and escalating significant gaps or data quality issues
- Ensuring corporate account onboarding, transition and closing activities meet compliance, legal and regulatory requirements
- Preparing required documentation for audit purposes
Requirements
- Financial services industry experience
- Knowledge of commercial account operations or related discipline a plus
- Understanding of the account activation process and corresponding regulations preferred
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated command of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Strong analytical abilities
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Knowledge of credit agreement negotiation, legal documentation, and risk management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functional teams
- Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable
- Degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant fields
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structured finance, or a similar role in the financial services industry.
