About the role

  • Develop and maintain strategic client relationships, enhancing existing accounts and onboarding new clients in UIT sectors.
  • Create and execute client account plans to drive portfolio performance, revenue growth, and return targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the UIT portfolio through targeted strategies.
  • Develop and implement a robust industry plan to support sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and key industry participant for UIT within GCIB Oceania.
  • Collaborate with product specialists to deliver tailored financial solutions, with a focus on non-lending products.
  • Lead portfolio management and transaction execution, ensuring alignment with credit and risk requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a high-performing team.
  • Support the Head of Corporate Coverage in managing broader coverage strategy and driving business objectives.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in UIT sectors within Institutional Banking or Corporate Finance
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or related fields from a leading university
  • Proven ability to execute complex transactions and collaborate with product partners across project finance, acquisition finance, and capital markets
  • Demonstrated success in onboarding strategic clients and strengthening existing relationships
  • Strong credit and risk management expertise
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build consensus
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify new revenue streams and cross-selling opportunities
  • Previous leadership experience in guiding and developing high-performing teams
