About the role

  • Backend (e.g. Python/FastAPI), Postgres, Queue/Eventing (NATS/RabbitMQ/Kafka), OIDC/SSO, APIs (Box/HubSpot/Microsoft Graph/Asana), Docker, Observability (OpenTelemetry/Prometheus/ELK)
  • Project/contract basis, start ASAP, workload as agreed

Requirements

  • Senior/Lead backend developer with architecture ownership (production shipped)
  • Failure modes: retries, idempotency, consistency, race conditions
  • Queues/eventing plus robust observability and logging
  • Serious testing: integration, end-to-end (E2E), and regression testing
  • Architectural interface and a minimal service contract (API/events) for the MVP
  • Matter ID/data model including mapping rules and idempotency keys
  • Workflow layer: retries/backoff, dead-letter handling, replay, deduplication
  • Security/SSO plus roles/permissions and secrets management concept
  • Audit trail: traceable "who/what/when/why" (correlation IDs/tracing)
  • QA gates: E2E/regression for deliveries/deadlines/audit (CI-ready)
