About the role
- Responsibility for a large WordPress codebase
- Architecture & structuring of CPT-based content systems (Custom Post Types)
- Building & maintaining dynamic data models and fields
- Analyzing & resolving performance bottlenecks
- Debugging complex plugin & Elementor edge cases
- Developing efficient, reusable templates & modules
- Implementing SEO-relevant structures at a technical level
- Building & maintaining batch/stack processes
- Integration & maintenance of AI-based automations
- Robust update & deployment strategies
- Monitoring, log analysis & error tracking
- Collaboration with SEO & content teams — without micromanagement
Requirements
- Several years of experience with large-scale WordPress setups
- Think in systems, data models & architectures — not individual pages
- Understand why things become slow — and how to fix them sustainably
- Strong understanding of clean code and site structure
- You document your work, are organized & work independently
- Experience with very large SEO projects
- Development of custom Elementor widgets
- WP-CLI / shell automation experience
- Experience with Multisite / content hubs
- Understanding of crawl budget & indexing logic
- Experience with AI pipelines & automation
