About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and customize the internal developer portal using the SaaS platform's public APIs and webhooks.
  • Design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful/asynchronous APIs using Python (FastAPI, Django or Flask).
  • Implement front-end improvements using JavaScript and jQuery, ensuring an excellent user experience.
  • Deploy, scale, and operate applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, and managed services.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), automated testing, and deployment processes.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, availability, security, and scalability.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and code reviews, promoting development best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience developing Full Stack applications using:
  • - Python (FastAPI, Django or Flask)
  • - JavaScript/jQuery
  • - SPA frameworks (React, Angular or Vue)
  • Experience with databases:
  • - Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • - NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Redis)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools:
  • - Jenkins
  • - GitLab CI
  • - GitHub Actions
  • - Azure DevOps
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • - REST APIs
  • - Asynchronous programming (asyncio, aiohttp)
  • - Event-driven architectures
  • - Messaging platforms (Kafka, EventHub)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud providers: AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have:
  • - Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal.io or similar.
  • - Knowledge of plugin or extension architectures for developer portals (Backstage, Port.io or equivalent frameworks).
  • - Experience integrating and customizing SaaS platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, or SDKs.
  • - Experience deploying and operating cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • - Participation in Open Source projects or an active technical portfolio (GitHub, technical blogs, etc.).
