About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and customize the internal developer portal using the SaaS platform's public APIs and webhooks.
Design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful/asynchronous APIs using Python (FastAPI, Django or Flask).
Implement front-end improvements using JavaScript and jQuery, ensuring an excellent user experience.
Deploy, scale, and operate applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, and managed services.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), automated testing, and deployment processes.
Monitor and optimize application performance, availability, security, and scalability.
Participate in architecture reviews and code reviews, promoting development best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience developing Full Stack applications using:
- Python (FastAPI, Django or Flask)
- JavaScript/jQuery
- SPA frameworks (React, Angular or Vue)
Experience with databases:
- Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Redis)
Experience with CI/CD tools:
- Jenkins
- GitLab CI
- GitHub Actions
- Azure DevOps
Strong knowledge of:
- REST APIs
- Asynchronous programming (asyncio, aiohttp)
- Event-driven architectures
- Messaging platforms (Kafka, EventHub)
Hands-on experience with cloud providers: AWS, Azure or GCP
Preferred / Nice-to-have:
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal.io or similar.
- Knowledge of plugin or extension architectures for developer portals (Backstage, Port.io or equivalent frameworks).
- Experience integrating and customizing SaaS platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, or SDKs.
- Experience deploying and operating cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Participation in Open Source projects or an active technical portfolio (GitHub, technical blogs, etc.).
