About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to deadlines, scope, and budget.
  • Conduct agile ceremonies, including dailies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets using waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, ensuring project success.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues, remove impediments, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and share agile best practices within the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager (industry agnostic).
  • Strong knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing international projects and working with global teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective prioritization of tasks.
  • Preferred: PMP and/or CSM certifications.
