About the role

  • Participate in various banking projects as a subject-matter specialist, business analyst, tester, coordinator, project manager, etc.
  • Develop strategies, methods and processes for current issues facing financial services providers
  • Support our clients in meeting regulatory requirements, e.g. research, preparation, presentation and implementation of regulatory requirements for risk controlling and risk management within project work (CRD, CRR, IRRBB, MaRisk, ESG, etc.)
  • If applicable, perform project-related data processing using VBA, Excel, Access, SQL, Python, R.

Requirements

  • Completed academic degree (Mathematics, Physics, Business Informatics, Economics, Business Administration, etc.)
  • Several years of experience in bank controlling or management in a banking or consulting environment
  • Strong sense for appropriate task prioritization
  • Open to new topics and passionate about quantitative, analytical and regulatory issues
  • Independent, analytical and structured approach to work
  • Open personality and friendly, reliable manner with clients and colleagues
  • High degree of team spirit and orientation
  • Very good German language skills and at least basic proficiency in English
  • Ideally, confident handling of data processing tools (VBA/Excel, VBA/Access, SQL, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel
