Pipe Fitter – Pipe Shop
MSS Solutions, LLCPipe Fitter role involves assisting with HVAC/Mechanical projects and operating pipe fitting tools. Requires experience in field pipefitting and ability to read blueprints for installation.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with all work related to HVAC/Mechanical/ Industrial projects.
- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the trade as needed.
- Vitaulic grooving machine, overhead hoists, & general pipe fitting tools
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Communicate clearly with shop foreman and follow direction
- Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three years of field pipefitting experience to include all of the following: soldering, brazing, threading pipe, grooving pipe, installing hangers as well as carbon steel pipe (up to 24")
- Must have own hand tools required for the position
- Must be able to identify and install pipe grades and systems
- Ability to read blueprints
