About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct others on work activities and organize scheduling of resources
  • Training of new employees and shop members as needed to better the team knowledge and abilities
  • Solve simple job-related problems and bring solutions to the shop superintendent or Fabrication shop manager
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools, large machines, and specialty equipment
  • Support the Superintendent and Project Manager to complete the project in a timely manner
  • Provide the best quality and productive work without constant reminder
  • Review and inspect finished assemblies to ensure parts and pieces are accurate and meet the fabrication requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Graduate or equivalent, work experience
  • 5 years experience operating a forklift and handling more than just pallets
  • Must be able to talk and hear
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs.
