About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Recruit and guide prospective students through the admissions process by managing an assigned territory
  • Cultivate relationships with schools and counselors and represent the College at events
  • Promote the College’s programs and support enrollment goals
  • Ensure a positive applicant experience through effective communication and collaboration
  • Conduct high school visits and attend college fairs in selected territory
  • Provide regular territory analysis and feedback
  • Assist with daily admissions presentations, interviews, and events
  • Meet departmental goals for inquiries, applications, admitted and enrolled students
  • Maintain and update files including travel and student records

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of six-to-twelve months experience in recruitment, public relations, marketing or a related field, preferably in a college or university setting
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation/communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, faculty and staff
  • Effective time management, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must have experience working with office equipment and technology (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Candidates must be willing to travel extensively
  • Must have some familiarity with making online travel arrangements
  • Strong work ethic with a high degree of professionalism
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Regular evening and weekend work are required
  • Spanish Speaking preferred
