About the role

  • Design, develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright/CodeceptJS for functional regression tests.
  • Collaborate with the QA team, developers and product managers to understand requirements and implement automated tests accordingly.
  • Maintain and update automation test scripts to ensure they stay relevant with evolving features and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts, working to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Generate test reports and logs to track test progress and provide insights into test results.
  • Work in an Agile environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Continuously improve automation processes and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in automation testing using Playwright/CodeceptJS (or similar tools like Cypress, etc.)
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools
  • Ability to write clear and concise test scripts
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Git
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Nice-to-Haves: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript).
  • Familiarity with API automation.
