About the role

  • Conduct microbial, lead, asbestos, soot, water sampling, legionella, water damage consulting, and industrial hygiene inspection and samplings
  • Conduct asbestos surveys
  • Conduct lead paint inspections
  • Conduct Illicit drug inspection
  • Conduct radon inspections
  • Conduct asbestos and lead abatement oversight
  • Create asbestos management plans
  • Prepare inspection reports based on the inspection findings
  • Technicians drive to job sites daily and travel for work 100% of the time
  • Perform various duties including administrative tasks, errands, field tech support

Requirements

  • speak, read, and write English
  • OSHA Hazwoper certificate
  • NIOSH 582
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Illustrator
  • ability to properly wear and use personal respirator equipment and other forms of personal protective equipment

  • OSHA 10/30 or HAZWOPER training is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related science field is a plus
  • Current AHERA Building Inspector and Contractor/Supervisor Certification is required
  • Current EPA Lead Inspector is required
  • Valid State Driver's License and auto insurance and reliable vehicle for transportation is required
  • A Good driving record with no points is required
  • at least 2 years as an Industrial Hygienist or Environmental Technician is required
  • Literacy in Microsoft Office, Word, Windows 10, Google Searches, Gmail, SmartPhone technology
  • NIOSH 582 Certification is a plus
