About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, deploy, and maintain VMware infrastructure solutions, including vSphere, vCenter, and NSX
Manage and optimize virtual machines and host environments for high availability and performance
Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments
Monitor and troubleshoot VMware performance issues and perform root cause analysis
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems in a multi-domain environment
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and DNS services
Develop and enforce Windows security, patch management, and system update best practices
Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell scripting
Collaborate with network, security, and application teams on infrastructure integration
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users
Create and maintain architecture diagrams, configurations, and operational documentation
Monitor and optimize VMware and Windows environment performance, availability, and scalability
Propose innovative technology solutions that enable organizational capabilities
Collaborate internationally to deliver IT services and solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any technology stream
3 to 5 years of experience in VMware technologies and Windows Server administration
Strong understanding of networking concepts, virtualization best practices, and server hardware
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and familiarity with automation tools
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certifications preferred
Experience with VMware Cloud offerings or hybrid cloud environments desirable
Knowledge of security best practices for VMware and Windows environments desirable
Familiarity with SAN, NAS, and relevant backup solutions desirable
Expertise in VMware technologies and Windows operating systems management
Experience managing vSphere, vCenter, NSX, Active Directory, GPO, and DNS
Experience with Windows Server administration in a multi-domain environment
Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting VMware environments
