About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Focus on the emerging area of Sustainability reporting within the External Reporting group
- Prepare the Company for its initial regulatory sustainability filings
- Report to the Executive Director – External Reporting
- Work extensively with the Sustainability Controller
- Help ensure the Company is positioned for and responsive to growing global regulatory external reporting requirements
- Address environmental, social and governance reporting topics
- Support sustainability reporting compliance, corporate governance, accounting, audits, and sustainability reports
- Drive projects and change in complex environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 5 years of auditing and/or accounting background
- Working knowledge of sustainability-related topics and regulations
- Familiarity with CSRD and EU Taxonomy regulations
- Project management skills
- Experience in financial reporting, financial processes, and internal controls
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Detail-oriented with commitment to a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to react quickly to changes and work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Previous experience working in complex environments and driving change
- Effective communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
- Ability to work in a less structured environment for daily activities
- Experience with Workiva sustainability reporting module preferred
- Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- No visa sponsorship
- Valid driving license not required
