About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to implementation projects and global rollouts of enterprise analytics solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders to capture and refine analytical requirements and define measurable outcomes
  • Translate functional requirements into technical solution designs, including data models, interfaces, and reporting layers
  • Design and evolve canonical conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned to business domains
  • Define and enforce data architecture standards, naming conventions, modeling patterns, and integration approaches
  • Develop and review data pipelines, transformations, and curated datasets for reporting and self-service analytics
  • Coordinate delivery tasks with external teams and ensure quality through code and design reviews
  • Support and coordinate SIT/UAT testing, reconciliation, and data quality validation
  • Provide post-go-live and hypercare support
  • Contribute to knowledge transfer sessions and support teams
  • Follow lifecycle management processes and SDLC standards
  • Deliver remediation activities related to ERP modernization and downstream reporting impacts
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different locations in a diverse, globally distributed environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expertise in data architecture and strong architectural design skills
  • Proficiency in SAP Datasphere
  • In-depth understanding of data migration
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise data, analytics, and reporting solutions in complex environments
  • Experience supporting ERP/finance data domains, including record-to-report, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay
  • Strong data architecture and data modeling skills, including conceptual, logical, physical, dimensional, normalized, and denormalized modeling
  • Practical experience designing batch, ELT/ETL, CDC, API, and event-based data integration patterns
  • Experience defining interface contracts
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Hands-on experience implementing transformations, reusable semantic layers, and performance-optimized datasets
  • Experience with modern data platforms and tooling, including cloud data warehouses/lakes, orchestration, and metadata/catalog capabilities
  • Solid understanding of data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and controls for regulated environments
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional, multicultural team environment
  • Very good communication skills and ability to support multiple initiatives in a regulated pharma environment
  • Experience contributing to ERP modernization or migration programs and managing downstream analytics impacts is a plus, not required
  • Exposure to Python, Power BI, BusinessObjects, semantic/metrics layers, and self-service analytics is welcomed
