About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the main point of contact with large Oncology group practices and integrated delivery networks focused on Oncology and Hematology
- Establish the company as an industry leader and trusted resource for healthcare partners and providers
- Support healthcare partners and providers and help improve patient health outcomes
- Build and maintain trust with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers
- Lead through challenging and ambiguous situations, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and objectives
- Provide approved disease and product information to key decision makers and stakeholders
- Maximize appropriate utilization of the product portfolio and bring resources to customers
- Align approved responses and resources with customer needs and external quality initiatives
- Apply knowledge of pathways, protocols, sites of care, guidelines, and quality initiatives to treatment decisions
- Use internal data and analytics to assess account performance and identify engagement opportunities
- Develop and execute coordinated, longitudinal account plans
- Apply approved messages and resources with healthcare business partners
- Coordinate local account teams to support contract pull-through and address local contract requests
- Establish strategic account approaches aligned with marketing guidance
- Align brand strategy and tactics with customer needs and business objectives
- Build relationships with key decision makers, stakeholders, and influencers
- Identify approved resources aligned with customer needs
- Understand enterprise access points and stakeholders who operationalize access
- Capture, share, and communicate customer information internally using approved tools
- Travel approximately 50% within the Mid-Atlantic geography
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree, or high school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, life sciences, sales, account management, or managed care
- Relevant experience may include professional sales, marketing, military, or pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical-device healthcare/scientific experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with senior healthcare executives and key opinion leaders
- Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to communicate value propositions and negotiate when applicable
- Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills in matrix organizations
- Ability to travel approximately 50%
- Preferred: advanced degree
- Preferred: local market relationships and customer knowledge
- Preferred: current account management experience with large Oncology and Hematology practices and integrated delivery networks
