About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage an Environmental Remediation Project portfolio of 5-10 projects globally with an overall budget between $10.0MM - $25.0MM and an annual spend of approximately $2.0MM - $5.0MM USD
- Provide support and expert advice to site personnel, Network teams and business leaders with respect to soil and groundwater contamination, equipment and facility decontamination and asset retirement obligations for a select portfolio of projects
- Develop / innovate / implement remediation strategies to comply with regulatory requirements and minimize liability (cost, regulatory, reputation) to the company
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in environmental remediation, EHS regulatory compliance, project management, site closure and/or decommissioning, preferably within a biopharmaceutical environment
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects across a variety of business units.
- Strong technical knowledge of soil and groundwater remediation and environmental liability management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, risk assessment, and financial acumen capabilities.
