About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for managing external vendor(s)/partner(s) who provide resources and services that are critical to the success of GCTO and GCD objectives and deliverables.
Serves as the primary contact for the assigned external vendor(s) and internal stakeholder organization.
Oversight and management of external vendor(s) within the assigned outsourcing category (e.g. Functional, Laboratory or Clinical Service).
Planning and execution Supplier Governance Meetings.
Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends process improvements to address challenges.
Collaborates with Research & Development Procurement to identify external vendor(s) candidates who can deliver the required services/resources.
Develops, monitors, and facilitates the collection and analysis of relevant performance metrics.

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of clinical trial experience or relevant industry experience
Strong partner/supplier management experience
Must demonstrate excellent collaboration skills to resolve issues and effectively negotiate.
Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work independently and make rapid and disciplined decisions.
Minimum requirement: Bachelors or equivalent from an accredited university in Business, Technical, or Life Sciences.
