About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, establish, and manage collaborative professional relationships with scientific leaders and investigators
Conduct peer-level scientific discussions and maintain a reliable presence
Engage in proactive non-product discussions regarding scientific issues
Facilitate appropriate scientific exchange of information with scientific leaders
Communicate external stakeholder opinions to enhance scientific understanding
Represent Research and Development at scientific meetings and congresses
Develop and execute territory plans in alignment with global Virology strategy
Support data generation activities when requested
Identify potential investigators for participation in clinical development programs
Provide in-depth scientific support to Health Systems Teams
Demonstrate and maintain in-depth knowledge of the assigned disease and therapeutic areas

Requirements

What you’ll need

An advanced degree (MD, PhD, DNP, Doctoral PA-C, DO, or PharmD) relevant to Virology/HIV
A minimum of 3 years prior experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical or clinical environment
A minimum of 3 years of clinical and/or research experience in Virology/HIV (or related therapeutic area)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent networking skills
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
