About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of new and existing customers in a planned and organized manner
- Report visits and sales using the tools provided by the company
- Actively participate in company training and knowledge-expansion activities
- Identify commercial channels, production farms and organizations that are potential customers for the company’s animal health products
- Achieve established territory targets, including demand and/or sales to resellers, distributors and farms/studs, market share, and visits to veterinarians
- Communicate product information using customer-appropriate messaging and following strategies established by Marketing and Sales
- Set priorities; establish challenging quantitative and qualitative objectives; estimate deadlines and schedule activities and travel routes; identify and allocate resources; use tools such as timelines, tables and PowerPoint files
- Assist the Territory Coordinator in managing and developing sales teams and the demand teams of partner distributors and resellers
- Serve as a knowledge ambassador by training partner teams and delivering presentations to producers
- Develop a business plan based on key account management concepts, grounded in the sales potential of our products and competitors and aligned with the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the territory and Brazil
- Proactively develop customer relationships by listening to and meeting the needs of both external and internal customers
- Commercial negotiation: create sales strategies and apply them with buyers at resellers and farms/studs to standardize and close product sales
- Comply with all company procedures and policies, including those related to business ethics and commercial conduct
- Maintain accurate records of visits and submit them periodically within established deadlines
- Promote teamwork across all organizations in which you operate.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Degree in Veterinary Medicine or Zootechnics (Animal Science)
- Experience in sales in the animal health sector and/or technical coordination at animal health companies or distributors of veterinary products
- Knowledge of the large animal market
- Knowledge of beef cattle production
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
