Attorney

• Oversee a litigation portfolio comprised mostly of commercial litigation
• Manage antitrust matters and provide counseling to the business on antitrust issues
• Retain and manage outside counsel from case inception through case closure
• Establish case and alternative dispute resolution strategies
• Provide internal guidance to business and relevant stakeholders and implement litigation initiatives
• Estimate legal expenses quarterly and establish/manage litigation budgets
• Develop and/or coordinate preparation of weekly updates and reports regarding status of significant cases
• Work closely with U.S. Litigation team, business clients, Office of General Counsel, and Public Affairs
• Anticipate and mitigate legal problems and develop strategies to reduce risk
• Investigate factual issues pertaining to mass tort and commercial litigation claims and defend/prosecute matters
• Assist other members of legal team across business units as needed
• Perform risk assessments and determine when/how to resolve legal issues with stakeholder input
• Manage all aspects of multi-jurisdictional discovery pertaining to commercial litigation
• Report to Managing Counsel of Litigation
