About the role
- Support development and deployment of AI and digital pilots that enhance EHS monitoring, reporting, and decision-making.
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, and basic analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Help maintain and update internal EHS policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
- Participate in change management activities, including drafting rollout plans, training materials, and tracking adoption metrics.
- Contribute to creation of clear, targeted communications for stakeholders about EHS initiatives and program updates.
- Assist with administrative tasks and project coordination as needed to support team deliverables.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- Completed at least 2 years of College course work.
- Able to work full time for a period of 9-12 weeks.
- Ability to think critically about process inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Familiarity or strong interest in generative AI, digital tools, and data analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail.
- Comfortable working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn; prior experience with EHS programs or change management is a plus.
- Preferred: Prior internship or work experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety field or in chemical manufacturing.
- Ability to convey ideas and explain decisions in a clear and concise manner.
