About the role

  • Develop techniques for quantitative analysis of multidimensional images
  • Identify biomarkers in biological datasets
  • Apply machine learning, deep learning, data mining, image processing, and signal processing techniques

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics
  • Knowledge in mathematical algorithms in areas such as machine learning, deep learning, pattern recognition, data mining, image processing, computer vision, signal processing, bioinformatics, and statistics
  • Research experience in biomedical image processing
  • Research experience in analyzing multimodal datasets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and schedule daily computing, research, and reporting activities
  • Must be available to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during the summer of 2026.
