About the role
- Manage the CapEx spend from projects up to $5M across all our Company divisions
- Serve as a liaison between the sites and the Global Cap Ex team
- Ensure the correct sourcing and execution of projects and 100% compliance with processes and policies
- Provide primary expertise in Capital sourcing, stakeholder engagement and management and performance improvement of the capital spend
- Develop direct relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Train stakeholders on our processes and policies
- Collaborate with site teams to understand the Long-range Capital plan
- Build our projects pipeline
- Support the building and approval of Project Procurement Plans (PPPs)
- Lead sourcing projects to deliver optimal value to the company
- Drive increases in varied spend
- Perform supplier negotiations to support projects
- Monitor key suppliers through agreed KPIs and perform Quarterly Business Reviews
- Develop, support, and execute a comprehensive regional and local strategy in line with the global strategy
- Stay at the forefront of sustainability best practices, regulations, and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and policies
- Experience in complex supplier negotiations
- Experience in capital expenditure projects is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate complex topics to varied audiences
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead and manage change in a dynamic environment
