About the role
- Engage in providing thorough histopathological reviews and testing clinical samples
- Collaborate in the development and analytic validation of digital pathology algorithms
- Interface with scientists and physicians to execute histopathology-based biomarker strategies
- Establish new histopathology-based assays in the laboratory as part of a team
- Provide subject matter expert pathologist input to discussions in a highly matrixed environment
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD or MD/PhD) with specialized training in Anatomic Pathology
- Proficient in routine histopathology testing, immunohistochemistry (IHC), cytogenetics (in-situ hybridization)
- Experience ensuring compliance of a clinical laboratory with regulatory standards
- Experience with the development and analytic validation of digital pathology algorithms
- Excellent oral and written skills with a proven record of scientific contributions
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact well with diverse groups and maintain strong working relationships
