Backend Engineer

• - Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable database solutions.
• - Mentor peers and share best practices for database design and performance.
• - Monitor and tune performance, scalability, and security across transactional, ETL, and reporting workloads.
• - Review and improve existing designs while ensuring safe, consistent schema, and query changes.
• - Define, measure, and maintain service-level objectives (SLOs) for key data flows using metrics and alerts.
• - Work closely with application and QA engineers to validate data integrity and maintain clear boundaries between services

Technical Project Manager

• Manage assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope of project
• Act as main interface to MS2 software engineers, clients and internal leadership; responsible for software project deliverables
• Build project schedules and provide ongoing project plan/status reporting for weekly staff meetings
• Make decisions and communicate trade-offs and risks; drive key decisions across projects
• Prepare documentation such as requirements and user manuals
• Drive collaboration across teams and advance project goals
• Track project deadlines and work closely with MS2 development to meet timelines
• Contribute to improvement and ongoing refinement of software development lifecycle processes
• Contribute to technical and cost proposals
• Coordinate tasks, milestones and availability of project resources
• Facilitate discussions with both client and internal users and document specifications
• Communicate to MS2 development client requests, ideas for new software modules or user interface improvements
• Perform quality assurance for system enhancements
• Frequent communication with clients
• Conduct methodology research to guide new software features or solutions
• Develop solution technical concepts based on client data management needs
• Work with Business Development Manager to grow MS2 in new market areas
• Attend professional conferences as directed to represent MS2
• Cross-sell other MS2 products and services to existing clients
