About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a main contact for communicating and collaborating with assigned accounts
  • Review and verify FMLA and Disability forms for validity and compliance with HIPAA/HITECH and related requirements
  • Verify patient information within assigned accounts’ EMR systems using key patient identifiers
  • Confirm request information and request additional documentation from patients/requesters for pending forms
  • Pull and complete forms accurately and in compliance with MRO Clinics policies/procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Follow workflows specific to assigned accounts
  • Provide and log detailed, accurate information on each processed form
  • Update and maintain an accurate Accounting of Disclosures
  • Provide customer service to patients and clients while ensuring patient privacy
  • Handle high call volumes while maintaining service and professionalism
  • Maintain established production and quality goals and manage assigned accounts within turnaround times
  • Report to the Director of Disability as necessary
