About the role
- Lead & grow a high-performing engineering team focused on the automation, self serve, data driven delivery engineering
- Lead design, architecture for MozCloud Platform services to establish repeatable patterns
- Manage the roadmaps across the multiple focus areas of your team, prioritizing user experience and alignment with organizational strategy.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve project milestones across the components of the infrastructure platform you own.
- Champion operational excellence, innovation, and scalable user-centric solutions.
- Ensure high standards for security, compliance, reliability, and usability.
Requirements
- 15+ years software engineering experience, including at least 5 years of team management.
- Track record leading large-scale organizational and technical transformations anchored around Cloud Native platform and services.
- Deep expertise in K8s containerized production infrastructure frameworks and tooling including Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm charts, Prometheus, Grafana, IAM, IdP, WAF, Gateway API and related tooling.
- Proficient with multiple cloud platforms, particularly GCP.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, adept at aligning technical initiatives with strategic user and organizational objectives.
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity.
