Manage and oversee the workload and performance of the engineering team
Run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Provide technical guidance and support to unblock engineers as needed
Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of projects and features
Be a player Coach by providing hands on support in feature delivery, bug fixes, and critical development tasks when necessary
Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to align priorities and ensure successful execution
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
Drive team engagement, performance reviews, and professional development of team members
Implement and improve engineering best practices and agile processes

Requirements

6+ years of experience in software development
2+ years in a leadership/management role of a team of engineers
Proven experience leading distributed or remote engineering teams
Technical background with hands-on programming experience
Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
5+ years of experience working with Rails and React
Ability to provide technical guidance and hands-on support when needed
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills with global stakeholders
Experience in the real estate tech or related industries is a plus
Familiarity with creating, documenting, and maintaining requirements in tools like Jira and Confluence
