About the role

  • Lead the design of user-centric solutions, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate user needs and technical requirements into meaningful design solutions.
  • Use strategic and tactical thinking to navigate challenging conversations with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Mentor and provide feedback to other designers on the UX team.
  • Work with the UX and engineering teams to develop and maintain design systems and guidelines.
  • Balance multiple projects and priorities, delivering high-quality design solutions in an agile environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in both web and mobile application design.
  • Proven ability to lead design projects from concept to delivery.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with distributed teams.
  • Ability to think beyond individual design elements to understand the broader product strategy and business goals.
  • Proficiency in user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Solid understanding of front-end development and technical constraints, with working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Expertise in using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms for wireframing, prototyping, and design.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency across products.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
