About the role

  • At Moxie, we empower entrepreneurs to launch, run, and grow their own aesthetics businesses with a combination of software and services.
  • In just over three years, we have grown from an idea to a global, remote-first team of more than 140 people.
  • Our business is in the top decile for growth, and our team is consistently described as high-trust, low-ego, and high-output.
  • We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to build the foundation of our data and analytics function from the ground up.
  • You’ll own high-impact dashboards and reporting infrastructure, partner cross-functionally to answer strategic business questions, and deliver insights that directly shape Moxie’s product, marketing, and operations.
  • You’ll also lay the groundwork for smarter, AI-enabled analytics to help our team make faster, better decisions.
  • This is a rare opportunity to be the analytics hire at a fast-growing startup where data is core to the business.
  • You’ll work closely with the Chief Product Officer, Marketing leadership, and even the CEO — bringing structure and clarity to decisions that directly impact revenue, growth, and customer experience.
  • Our objectives for the role: - Ship high-leverage analytics early: Deliver your first lightweight model and build/edit key internal and externally facing dashboards to build trust and show value fast. - Partner with Data Engineering on foundational systems: Work on core analytics tools like Omni, dbt, Snowflake, and Mixpanel while helping the team self-serve insights. - Drive data-informed decision-making: Partner with Product, Ops, and Marketing to surface levers that grow medspa GMV, like pricing, retention, or offer structure. - Bring AI and modern tools into the mix: Begin experimenting with AI-driven workflows, recommendations, or benchmarking tools that embed intelligence into our dashboards and product. - Lead major initiatives: Finalize our marketing services data stack (e.g., Meta ad stitching) and build our core Practice Intelligence Dashboard — the tool our customers will use to run their business.
  • We’re looking for someone who: - Has a proven track record of delivering actionable insights across product, marketing, or ops — not just reporting the data but shaping strategy. - Is deeply comfortable with our core stack (or similar): dbt, Snowflake, Omni/Looker, Segment, and Mixpanel. - Knows how to balance scrappy execution with solid systems thinking — when to hack and when to invest in architecture. - Has strong business instincts and understands how to prioritize the analytics work that will drive growth or improve efficiency. - Communicates clearly with technical and non-technical teammates, builds strong relationships, and thrives in ambiguous environments.
  • Why join us? - Above all, we’re in this to empower small business owners to own and grow their businesses. If you succeed, Med Spas will remain an opportunity for independent owner-operators instead of being dominated by a small number of large chains. - We have much left to build. But given the market feedback we’re getting and our founding team’s company-building experience, we think we are writing the first chapters of a real success story. - You’ll have the chance to:
  • Build the analytics foundation for a scaling company.
  • Shape how data is used across the entire org.
  • Experiment with AI and automation where it makes a real impact.
  • Earn competitive salary and stock, plus generous health/dental/vision benefits.
