About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preference for 2-year degree or current coursework toward a 2-year degree
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously with strong diligence
  • Interest in rural communities, equity, and local leadership
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with electronic file management systems such as MS SharePoint
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and durable communication skills
  • Experience planning and coordinating meetings
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent judgment while maintaining confidentiality
  • Reliable transportation
  • MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, with basic to intermediate proficiency
  • Expertise using virtual meeting programs such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams
  • Background check required
  • Availability on multiple weekdays between 8am and 6pm
  • Availability for monthly in-person meetings in Durham, NC
  • Availability for occasional meetings/events after traditional weekday office hours and select Saturdays
