About the role
- Movement Strategy is looking for a Senior Data Analyst who can bring both rigor and imagination to the way we measure, interpret, and communicate performance.
- Dig into large, complex data sets, build reporting frameworks and dashboards, and surface insights that help our clients make smarter decisions, optimize campaigns, and drive measurable business results.
- Structure an analytical approach, forecast outcomes, and turn data into stories and recommendations that are clear, actionable, and impactful.
- Measure both organic and paid social media performance; influence creative and elevate brand performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau (or comparable tools). Contribute to data pipelines through experience with ETL processes.
- Collaborate with peers on cross functional teams, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring actionable delivery of accurate and actionable data.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of marketing analytics experience
- Fluent in SQL
- Excel/Google Sheets
- Data visualization platforms like Tableau
- Experience measuring both organic and paid social media performance
- Background in e-commerce and/or retail brand performance is a strong foundation
- Hands-on experience with data tool stack: Google Sheets/Excel, Tableau, Looker, Snowflake, GCP, etc
- Proficiency with a desire to get to expert level on SQL
- Experience with forecasting and have a POV for different methodologies
- Ability to benchmark and create testing plans
- Stay updated on industry trends, social media platforms, and emerging technologies
- Deep familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and metrics/KPIs
