About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business partners to design data solutions based on best practices.
Manage SQL Databases but not limited and can extend to NoSQL/Cloud Database as applicable.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support deployment activities as required.
Automate manual data tasks through workflows and ETL packages.
Analyze data quality and make recommendations for data preparation.
Follow guidance from senior team members to plan, deploy, and maintain critical data solutions.
Perform system monitoring and technical support.
Installing and configuring SQL Server, applying patches and fixes and monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.
Creating backup plans, developing, and testing disaster recovery scenarios, managing security, server sizing, and performance tuning.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with complicated SSIS Package coding and maintenance.
Create ETL packages. (Mandatory on SSIS, Knowledge of other ETL is good to have).
Experience in creation of SQL Tables, Views, MV’s, Stored Procedures and working on complex T- SQL statements.
Expert knowledge in traditional relational database concepts and design. Fluent in SQL.
Database design and query optimization.
Write and debug stored procedures and ability in advanced SQL operations.
Should possess skill to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot daily jobs using SQL Server Agent.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
