About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Functioning at a high level in all aspects of the position
- Being a ‘go to’ for other personnel within the Internet business department
- Focus on discovering application/system inefficiencies
- Developing and making recommendations regarding cloud infrastructure and operations
- Ensuring system security by reviewing and implementing approved policies
- Enhancing functionality of systems by developing and modifying scripts
- Supporting application developers/programmers
- Developing and delivering cross-training to selected Associates
- Maintaining contemporary knowledge of industry trends
- Overseeing daily workflow and projects for team
- Fostering a learning environment and mentoring team members
- Assisting management with development of results oriented processes
- Initiating, establishing, and maintaining effective relationships with business contacts
- Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business
- Regular attendance at work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 1 year as a highly performing Mouser employee for internal candidates
- Minimum 2 years prior work experience relevant to the team for external candidates
- 6+ years experience in critical job functions of the team
- Strong skills with Microsoft Environment web app and web services
- Experience with Windows operating systems
- Experience in analyzing, understanding, designing, and implementing new products, services, and utilities in the web environment
- Solid understanding of container concepts
- Experience with deployment automation and orchestration
- On Premise and Cloud experience leveraging GitHub/Azure DevOps/PowerShell
- GitHub/Azure DevOps/TFS experience
- Experience with Unix or Linux operating systems
- Development experience/skills
- Skills with Microsoft Environment C#/Visual Studio
- Experience integrating software systems
- Excellent understanding of RDBMS and database theories
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write reports
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Aptitude to solve technical and practical problems
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting Monitoring and logging tools – Zabbix/Grafana/Splunk/ELK
- Experience with and supporting Application Performance Monitoring tools – Similar to Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and AppInternals (aka. Aternity)
- Experience with and supporting Infrastructure as code mechanisms – Similar to Chef/Puppet/Terraform/Ansible
