About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement comprehensive PPC strategies across multiple channels, including Google Ads (Pmax, paid Search), Bing Ads, display, and social media advertising platforms with a £8m annual budget.
  • Manage all day-to-day performance and optimization of PPC campaigns, including budget allocation, bid management, and ad creative testing to achieve desired performance metrics.
  • Audit PPC accounts to find gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement. Analyze campaign data and performance metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to a team of PPC specialists, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to succeed.
  • Line management of our PPC Executives; holding regular 1-2-1’s, identifying training requirements, delivering annual reviews, and setting of objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of PPC innovation and strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including country trading, design, and analytics, to align PPC efforts with overall marketing objectives.
  • Stay up to date with changes in the PPC landscape and emerging technologies to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly reports (including P&L) and presentations to communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders. Efficiently communicate actionable analysis and execute improvements to help drive incremental conversions.
  • Maintain relationships with Google & Bing account Managers & test new tools and products as they become available.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience - a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high spend, senior PPC role, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale PPC campaigns and driving measurable results in terms of traffic, conversions, and revenue.
  • A passion for the digital sector, e-commerce and PPC.
  • Background in managing international markets with strong understanding of international market dynamics and search behaviour.
  • Strong commercial awareness - comfortable using data to demonstrate ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive actionable insights and recommendations. comfortable using MS Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of PPC platforms and tools, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and bid management platforms.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of PPC specialists.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate campaign performance and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
