About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Motriz’s monitoring, evaluation and research strategy, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities.
- Manage a skilled technical team composed of two coordinators and two analysts.
- Structure and advance the use of educational data to support decision-making.
- Integrate and analyze large, complex datasets, including:
- Secondary data: local learning assessments, SAEB, School Census.
- Primary data: proprietary surveys, focus groups and new indicators.
- Develop analyses and products that support territories in improving educational outcomes.
- Conduct and/or supervise impact evaluations in partnership with external institutions.
- Ensure methodological quality and analytical rigor in all research and studies.
- Define, track and measure organizational and territorial targets.
- Strengthen data governance and the organization’s culture of evidence use.
- Build and maintain relationships with researchers and reference institutions in Brazil and internationally.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, Social Sciences or related fields.
- Experience in educational data analysis, public policy or impact evaluation.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative methods applied to research and evaluation.
- Experience working with large datasets and data architecture.
- Ability to translate complex analyses into actionable inputs for decision-making.
- Strong institutional engagement skills with diverse audiences, including public managers and the academic community.
- Advanced English.
