About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for all the technical aspects of project implementation
Deliver technical solutions by collaborating with Project Managers, Application Specialists, other Solutions Architects, customers, software developers, and any other resources needed
Understand the technical requirements, concepts of operation, and architecture of the overall solution
Work closely with the Pre- and Post-Sales teams to align requirements with customer solution needs
Lead and defend the project's technical and programmatic decisions
Identify customer expectation mismatches and work with the Project Manager to mitigate them
Tailor and apply change management and systems engineering processes
Assist Project Management in developing and managing costs and schedules by identifying technical risks to the deployment plan and suggesting mitigation options for those risks
Participate as the technical counterpart to the Project Manager for third-party, customer, and internal meetings.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years experience in delivering Public Safety projects in a technical role or enterprise-level technical deployment projects
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
Must be highly skilled with drawing and diagramming tools (such as MS Visio or similar)
Strong verbal and written skills; fluency in English
Willing to travel, occasionally up to 30% of the time.
