About the role
- Manage the development and implementation of Motorola Solutions Fixed Video products or services
- Coordinate with departmental and/or cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgraded Fixed Video products or services
- Create, manage, and receive purchase orders
- Work with Fixed Video Sales and Pre-Sales Business Managers to incorporate MBE/milestones to capture service revenue
- Manage projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance with Fixed Video Channel Partners, Fixed Video Sales, M&S RSMs and CSMs
- Ensure that FVIA revenue/costs goals are forecasted and updated regularly
- Participate in FVIA Pre/Post project review and status meetings, and communicate project status
- Continuously improve FVIA process in Standalone and Ecosystem projects and drive efficiencies
- May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities
- Accountable for accomplishing the stated project objectives within the stipulated time period and budget
- Ensure that quality, cost and time are properly managed
- Lead large programs or portions of very complex programs
- Oversee development of the complete project plan and establish, track, audit project budgets
- Represent the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role
- Manage project staff including reporting, administration and communication
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects
- Assist in definition of project scope and objectives and ensure technical feasibility
- Develop a project plan to monitor and track progress and manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and report and escalate to management as needed
- Successfully manage relationships of all project resources
- Aggressive/Creative problem solving skills, able to get things done in a multi-organizational environment
- Participation in project reviews
- Travel Requirements 10-25%
Requirements
- High School diploma, Technical Certificate, Associates, or Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years of experience in Project Management deploying Motorola Solutions products required
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
- Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, account relationship, time management, organizational and negotiating skills
- Ability to prioritize changing priorities, as necessary
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Visio and ability to work in other software systems as required
- Strong knowledge of Motorola Solutions internal systems (CPQ, I-procurement, Kissflow, etc)
