About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide day-to-day operational support across Motive's tradeshow and events portfolio
- Support partner marketing programs, Networks team events, and public sector shows
- Own pre-show and post-show checklists, deadlines, owners, and status in Asana and the events calendar
- Manage booth assets, swag, and collateral, including inventory, shipping, tracking, returns, and reorders
- Handle purchase orders, invoices, vendor onboarding, W-9s, certificates of insurance, and budget trackers
- Submit and track requests for registration pages, pre-show and post-show emails, and Salesforce campaign setup
- Format post-show lead lists for handoff to Data Quality and Marketing Operations
- Compile registration, attendance, and scan data into standard post-event reports
- Coordinate hotel blocks, badges, registrations, and deadline reminders for internal attendees
- Provide onsite support including booth setup, teardown, and day-of coordination
- Track partner, Networks, and public sector program requirements, including sponsor commitments, association memberships and renewals, exhibitor and speaker submissions, procurement forms, and compliance documentation
- Report to the Manager, Events Marketing and work alongside Events, Field, and Partner Marketing Managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 0 to 2 years of experience in marketing, events, hospitality, operations, or a related coordination role; internship and campus event experience counts
- Strong organizational skills and experience owning checklists, trackers, and deadlines with support from a program lead
- High attention to detail
- Clear, responsive written communication with internal teams and external vendors
- Comfort with spreadsheets
- Willingness to learn Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, and event registration platforms; prior experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Dependable under pressure and calm when plans change
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during show days
- Ability to lift and move event materials up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional weekends, early mornings, and late evenings
- Must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations
- Employees must be authorized to receive access to Motive products and technology
